I had a somewhat sudden change in my life, and decided that it would be best to relocate, and a part of that would be selling my home in San Angelo. I reached out to a realtor friend for a referral. I told her that I was going to need someone very good, since that house had previously been on the market for over three years, and I didn't have that kind of time. The name that I got was LaFreta White. She and I met soon after, and she went to work assessing my home, and what would need to be done in order to not only get it on the market as soon as comfortably possible, but also to get it sold. Her comments were very straightforward, and honest. It is obvious that she knows how to get a house sold, and of the steps involved. I followed her advice, with a few additions that she suggested might work, without being too costly, or not producing any real advantage. The house only stayed on the market for around 10 days before there was an offer on the table. Could not be happier with the way that the sale of the house went. If you are looking for a very talented, straight shooter, LaFreta is a very good choice. I was warned by my realtor friend to look out for certain comments ("I already have a couple of buyers who want to look at it" was a big one.) and actions, and there was none of that. It was a lot less stressful than I had anticipated, and it helped my to move on much more quickly into my new endeavors.

Lafreta with ERA turned out to be a wonderful choice for us. She advised to set asking price higher than I thought we should and it turned out that she was correct on that. When a couple of wrinkles came up she gave good advice on those. Start to finish house sold about six weeks. I would choose her again.

The best part was the communication. She's right there to answer your questions and has open lines of communication with her clients, even on a Sunday evening. She would even stop by sometimes! She was also able to keep me clam and tell me everything was going to be okay when I needed it the most. We sold our first home in 3 weeks and then the second house in 3-4 days and the third house took 7 weeks since it was a higher price point large home. Overall, all of our sales happened quickly with LaFreta's help.

This is my second home to buy with Janice. She is absolutely the best at what she does! It makes me feel sorry for anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of working with her. My home was a tough sell due to its location in the country but that did not discourage Janice and as usual she was on the ball with listing, advertising, showing and finally selling my house!!! Janice was not only able to get top dollar for my house but was also key in finding my new dream home!!! I hope I never have to move again but if I do Janice Petty will be my first call.

LaFreta sold us a home 8 years ago and so when it was time to move up to a larger home last year, we went straight to LaFreta. Janice and LaFreta are a great team, too. Once when we wanted to see a house, Janice quickly volunteered to show us the house so we wouldn't have to wait until later that night for LaFreta. During that showing, we gained from Janice's insights on that home and also from her insights on the house hunting process itself. LaFreta was really part marriage counselor as she helped define what my husband was looking for and what I was looking for and then helped us see a common solution. Once inside that perfect house, we knew it was the house for us and it was then that LaFreta's negotiating experience got us our home within 2 days of it going on the market. We are thrilled with our new home. Of course, Janice & LaFreta sold our old home, finding a buyer during their open house. We recommend Janice and LaFreta to all our friends.

We live out of town and were selling a property in San Angelo during the 2021 freeze. LaFreta took her time and energy to go to the property (WITHOUT being asked) to take the necessary precautions to protect the house from the freeze! If she had not done that I'm sure we would have had issues and not been able to close on the property the next week! That speaks volumes about her both as a professional and as a person.
