Looking for holiday fun without leaving town? San Angelo’s Concho Christmas Tour of Lights is a beloved tradition—and no matter how many times you’ve seen it, it never gets old. The displays are always being refreshed and updated, making each visit feel brand new.
This 32-year tradition winds 2.5 miles along the Concho River, glowing with over three million lights and 78 giant Christmas cards from local sponsors. You’ll pass animated scenes like The Twelve Days of Christmas, a festive toy factory, a glowing gingerbread house, Santa sightings, patriotic displays, and the breathtaking poinsettia field.
The tour runs nightly until December 31, from 6–10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and until midnight Friday–Saturday. Enter at Bryant Blvd. and 1st Street. A $8 donation per car is suggested, making it one of the most affordable Christmas traditions in town!
San Angelo is fortunate to have the community spirit and town pride to put together a Christmas experience like this. People come from miles around to enjoy this display and we are lucky to have it right here in our back yard. From holiday events to friendly neighborhoods and beautiful homes, there’s a lot to love about San Angelo at Christmas and throughout the year.
