Honoring Our Heroes This Memorial Day

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the true meaning of freedom—and the importance of community.

Here in San Angelo, Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a time when our neighborhoods come together to reflect, to remember, and to support one another. From flags lining the streets to local ceremonies at Fairmount Cemetery or Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, the spirit of unity and patriotism runs deep.

In real estate, we often talk about “finding home.” But home is more than a structure—it’s where values like service, sacrifice, and neighborly care are lived out every day. Whether you’re attending a local event, grilling in the backyard, or simply enjoying the peace and comfort of your own home, let’s take a moment to be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy—and those who made them possible.

I wish you and yours a meaningful and safe Memorial Day.
